Kristen Bitzegaio is the executive director of Back to School Teachers Store, a nonprofit organization that provides free classroom supplies and resources to educators in Delaware County. With 10 years of experience in public relations, Kristen enjoys the challenges of marketing on a budget and finding creative ways to maximize limited resources.
A native Hoosier, Kristen considers Muncie her adopted hometown after coming to Ball State University in 2003 and falling in love with the community. She’s a proud mother to two rambunctious little boys, and enjoys chasing after them with her husband and black lab at their home north of Muncie near the Mississinewa River. When not spending time with her family, Kristen can be found reading or volunteering with organizations like Women in Business Unlimited, Tri Kappa and Muncie Young Professionals. Micah Maxwell serves as the Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Muncie. In this role he is responsible for overall leadership, strategic planning, resource development and operations of the organization in support of the organization’s mission and goals.
Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Club in 2013, Micah served as a non-profit and leadership consultant with his own firm, DiamondCrest International. He has also served as the Executive Director of the Roy C. Buley Community Center; a field representative for the Indiana Youth Institute; and worked with other state and local organizations.
Micah is an alumnus of Ball State University with a degree in Organizational Communication. He graduated as a home-school student from high school. He has received numerous awards including the Inaugural Governor’s Award for Tomorrow’s Leaders. Micah also serves as an infantry officer in the Indiana National Guard.
Micah’s first social media experience dates back to early 2000’s when he had a kid he mentored set-up a Myspace page to learn more about the “fuss.” Since then, he has been on the forefront of social media on Facebook, twitter, Instagram and his own blog. Micah uses social media to engage with clients, community partners, athletics and personal areas of interest.
Micah passionately lives his personal mission to help educate, encourage and empower youth and adults to better their lives, their influences and their communities.
Lindsey Arthur is the Chief Executive Officer for Muncie Habitat for Humanity. Under Lindsey’s leadership Muncie Habitat has provided over 65 Muncie families and over 60 South American families with safe, affordable home ownership.
Lindsey attended college at Taylor University in Fort Wayne Indiana and received a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies. Upon graduating she and her husband, Josh, moved to Muncie to pursue a master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration for Higher Education. Josh and Lindsey chose to stay in Muncie after graduation with the intent and purpose to be involved in the underserved neighborhoods of the city. For almost 14 years, they have been proud residents of the South Central neighborhood. With community service in mind, Lindsey took a job as an AmeriCorps member with Greater Muncie Habitat for Humanity in the fall of 2002. Since 2002, Lindsey has served the organization in a variety of capacities from Program Director to Associate Executive Director and as of 2008 Chief Executive Officer.
Josh and Lindsey have two children; Lilly, 10 and Lincoln, 8.
Lindsey also serves in the community on multiple Boards; Shafer Leadership Academy, Urban Light Christian Community Development Corporation, and Muncie Noon Rotary.
Jennifer Greene supports the Innovation Connector as Project Marketing Manager creating and coordinating connections between the local entrepreneurial community and the small business incubator resources. Jennifer uses her talent for effective communication and passion for people to build relationships, engage audiences on social media platforms and to convey authentic branding for her organizations.
Her early adoption of popular social media platforms allows her to stay one step ahead in the social media realm. Her experience, goal-oriented personality, and understanding of engagement and metrics lead her to create social media solutions that provide measurable results.
Jennifer recently extended her role serving as the Community Manager for Muncie’s new coworking space, The Downtown Business Connector where she assists the organization with their digital marketing strategy and community development. She also serves as a committee member of ECI Social Media Group and holds a seat on the Board of Directors for Women in Business Unlimited.
